A sport-specific equipment-based fitness program, Fitness Kickboxing uses variations on the original circuit training method, utilizes latest developments in fitness and sports training and promotes kickboxing for fitness.
The techniques used during the one-hour classes, using conventional training pads, are based on authentic kickboxing techniques which provide both resistance training and cardio vascular benefits to its participants.
Most Fitness Kickboxing classes begin with a dynamic warm-up; typically this is followed by routines to include a series of repetitive punches, hands strikes, kicks and other self-defense moves. Latest developments in sport-specific and health related fitness training comes next, and then you ‘blast’ the pads with one of several circuits!!
